PARENTS wishing to get their children skiing at an early age can now do just that thanks to a leading St Anton chalet company.
This season Alpine Evolution hopes to take the stress out of taking young children skiing by launching a unique Snow Bunnies package especially designed for parents with pre-school children. The package includes around 450 Euros worth of FREE childcare, ski school and kiddie extras per child.
It includes pre-school ski lessons on six mornings, complimentary in-chalet nannies, free kids lunches plus an action packed afternoon entertainment programme. It also gives parents the chance to stay in a chalet with other families who have pre-school children.
Founder Annabel Gonifas, from Alpine Evolution, said encouraging children to ski from a young age was really important and gives youngsters a real head start.
“Getting children onto the slopes at a young age gives them a real advantage. We have been working with parents who have young children in order to design the ultimate child-friendly ski holiday. We hope to take the stress out of taking young children skiing and provide a setting where the family can have the holiday of a lifetime,” she said.
Alpine Evolution has teamed up with Skischule Arlberg to offer ski lessons for children aged 3,4 and 5. The Alpine Evolution chauffeurs will transport the little Alpine Evolution guests to ski school every morning. They will then be collected by qualified nannies from MeriNannies who will bring them back to Chalet Gertrud Gabl for a nutritious hot lunch.
The afternoon will be filled with an action-packed activity programme including snowman-making competitions, Gruffalo Hunts and tobogganing. On one afternoon, children will also be treated to hot chocolate, marshmallows and cake in the Alpine Evolution Ice Grotto.
During the evening, all children staying in Chalet Gertrud Gabl can huddle around the fire for story reading and warm milk before bed.
Adult dinner in the chalet will be served later to ensure guests have enough time to get their little ones to sleep.
“Parents with pre-school children often want to take advantage of the off-peak weeks before their children start school. We want to help them do that and give parents and children the chance to have a great family ski holiday, make new friends and enjoy the mountains,” said Annabel.
To ensure parents can travel light, Alpine Evolution can also arrange the provision of pushchairs, baby monitors, potties and sterilisers where required at an additional cost.
The Pre-School Package includes:
- Accommodation in Chalet Gertrud Gabl
- A special gift for each child on arrival
- Full board for children on six days (breakfast, lunch and dinner)
