Purslane will this July celebrate four roaringly successful years in business.
The top Cheltenham seafood restaurant will mark the anniversary with a champagne prize draw running from Tuesday 12th July until Friday 15th July. One diner each day will win one of four bottles of vintage champagne, Ayala Perle d’Ayala 2002 or Ayala Millesime 2002.

Summer 2016 is a special time for The Fulford Family as Gareth and Helena welcomed their second son, Benedict Robert Fulford, on Wednesday 29th June. The latest addition weighed in at 7lbs 7oz and joins the couple’s first child, George Nicholas Fulford.
The vintage bottles on offer include Ayala Perle d’Ayala 2002, the jewel in Champagne. This is a very exclusive blend of 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinot Noir, with all grapes being selected from Grand Cru & Premiers Crus village, harvested in a vintage year.
Alongside this, Ayala Millesime 2002 is a beautiful champagne, elaborated with a majority of Pinot Noir from the Grands Crus of the Montage de Reims. Bright, yellow, slightly amber in colour, this champange is a perfect use of Pinor Noir, structured, powerful and developing notes of chestnut and honey with an aromatic hint.
In just four short years, Purslane has made its mark on the South West food scene with critical aclaim from the likes of Jay Rayner and The Good Food Guide. Head Chef Gareth Fulford has been championed as one of the Cotswolds Best Chefs on numerous occasions.
