Eckington Manor’s Head Chef and Winner of Masterchef: The Professionals, Mark Stinchcombe, together with partner Sue Stinchcombe, invite guests to indulge in a Masterchef Menu.
From Wednesday 22nd June until Saturday 25th June, guests will have the chance to relish a six-course tasting menu of dishes as prepared by Mark during his hugely successful Masterchef journey.
Owner and Founder of Eckington Manor, Judy Gardner said: “We are hugely proud of Mark’s achievements and are delighted to be sharing his culinary highlights with our Masterchef Menu this June. Mark’s journey on Masterchef gripped the nation and catapulted him onto a national stage, inviting him into the sitting rooms of people up and down the country as they tuned in to follow his progress throughout the series. As we all know with food programmes, they get our tummies rumbling and inspire us with the wonderful culinary creations. They have us wanting to stick our spoons into the food too! Our Masterchef Menu, carefully crafted by Mark and Sue, will enable guests to relive Mark’s highlights on one of the nation’s best-loved shows, taking the place of presenters Gregg Wallace and Monica Galetti to indulge in these outstanding dishes.”
Eckington Manor’s Masterchef Menu will feature dishes including a main of Fillet of Beef, Marrow Bone and Crusted Short rib with carrots and a Charcoal Emulsion, famously described as “outstanding” by Greg Wallace.
A popular favourite of judge Marcus Wareing, Scallops served with Roasted Lemon, Peas & Buttermilk also features on the menu. Marcus famously described this dish as an “amazing combination of flavours, I want to eat it again and again”.
To finish, a decadent dessert of Elderflower Panna Cotta with Strawberry Parfait, Gooseberry & Candyfloss is included, followed by freshly brewed Coffee and homemade Petit Fours.
One half of an award winning culinary couple, Mark Stinchcombe was crowned winner of the 2015 series of Masterchef: The Professionals. Mark beat off tough competition from 12 finalists to take home the top title. During the process, judge and food legend Marcus Wareing described Mark as “a star of the future”.
With full tummies, diners can rest their heads with an overnight accommodation package. Guests can tuck themselves away in one of Eckington Manor’s boutique bedrooms, each entirely unique in its interiors and just a stones throw across the courtyard from the restaurant.
The Masterchef Menu is priced at £75 per person, with overnight accommodation from £299 per couple. This exclusive offering will be available from Wednesday 22nd June until Saturday 25th June only. For more information and to book, visit www.eckingtonmanor.co.uk or call 01386 751600.
