THE BRITISH artisan producer, Moorish Smoked Dips, is this week launching a brand new trio of oak smoked tapenades. Launching in Waitrose on 18th November 2014, the three new tapenades include Oak Smoked Green Olive Tapenade, Oak Smoked Black Olive Tapenade and Oak Smoked Red Pepper & Sun Dried Tomato Tapenade.

The new Deli-ish trio marks another exciting expansion for Moorish Smoked Dips, which has grown its range exponentially since its founding in 2012. All Moorish products are naturally-cold smoked over oak chips which helps them last longer (naturally, with a shelf life of 20 days in to depot!) and taste great without the addition of any artificial colours or flavours.

A Waitrose spokesperson said of the dips: "We are delighted to be launching a fantastic new line from Moorish, a product that is bang on trend and absolutely delicious, all made with the Moorish twist of smoked ingredients."

The Deli-ish smoked tapenade trio is the only smoked fresh tapenade on the market and are made using a secret natural cooking process that seals in the flavour and adds that unique Moorish smoked twist.

Oak Smoked Green Olive Tapenade (40g) blends the tangy creaminess of green olives with fresh herbs for a punchy versatile dip. Perfect for spreading on warm flatbreads or perking up some pasta. Vegetarian and free from gluten-containing ingredients.

Oak Smoked Black Olive Tapenade (40g) blends the fruity earthiness of black olives with the distinctive delicate saltiness of capers and fresh herbs for an intensely flavoursome dip or spread. Perfect for party canapés or to swirl into soup, it’s guaranteed to add an extra dimension to any dish. Vegan friendly and free from gluten-containing ingredients.

Oak Smoked Red Pepper & Sun Dried Tomato Tapenade (40g) blends the richness of red peppers with the intense sweetness of sun-dried tomatoes for a moreishly tasty dip. Incredibly versatile, spread on blinis, use as a pesto for unctuous pasta or whisk into vinaigrette to pour over a favourite salad. Vegetarian and free from gluten-containing ingredients.

The trio of tapenades will stand alongside the rest of the established Moorish Smoked Dip range, which includes a selection of smoked humous and smoked vegetable based dips.
