The Vaulted Spa at The Kings Head, in Cirencester, will welcome its first guests next month. The Spa will open on 1 March, following on from the opening of the main hotel last September.
This wow-factor addition to Cirencester’s first luxury hotel will offer a full subterranean tranquil haven. Facilities will include four treatment rooms, a steam room, sauna, hot tub, an experience shower, relaxation room and fitness suite complete with Matrix equipment.
General Manager Stephen Mannock said: “We’re thrilled to be unveiling this great addition to the Kings Head. The Spa will truly cement the hotel as a complete relaxation destination and the place to stay in The Cotswolds when looking to unwind. As a team, we’ve taken great time to consider the treatments and facilities on offer, which we hope will give the space an entirely unique vibe and feel. We hope our guests will make the most of our spa and treat not only themselves, but also family, friends and loved ones too.”
The Kings Head Spa is a unique space featuring exposed Cotswold stone brickwork with original vaulted ceilings and fireplaces. Continuing the sumptuous feel of the main hotel interiors, which have been designed by Calico Interiors, The Spa boasts a relaxing and soothing colour palette. The space is accentuated with warm, soft lighting.
Lubatti has been adopted as The Spa’s house brand for treatments and products. Signature treatments will include a Lubatti Full Body Experience and Signature Facial.
Founded by Jo Malone’s sister, Tracey Malone, Lubatti collections are inspired and developed using Madame Lubatti’s secret recipes, which date back as far as the 1920’s. Signature scents include Tuberose & Mimosa, Bergamot & Grapefruit, Sweet Almond and Honey, which seek to evoke nostalgia of a simpler, bygone era.
Leighton Denny has also been adopted throughout all manicure and pedicure treatments. Leighton Denny is the namesake brand of one of the world’s leading top experts and internationally recognised beauty professionals. Leighton’s star-studded client list includes the likes of Kate Moss, Penelope Cruz and Adele. The manicure range is also an established cult favourite amongst beauty editors and professionals alike.
Massage treatments using the world’s first self-heating massage tool, Lava Shells® will also be available at The Kings Head. A unique innovation in warming spa therapies, Lava Shells® induce deep relaxation whilst easing muscles plus joint aches and pains. Shell Relax Massage therapy uses 100% genuine recycled Tiger Clam shells from The Philippines to deliver a seamless massage of heat and touch.
Spa Manager Ellen Yates will lead the reins of the Kings Head Spa. She brings extensive experience from her previous positions held at spas across the world. These have included Andriake Beachclub in Turkey, Neilson Hotel Aalborg Les Deux Alpes in France, Seaside Beach Club in Turkey and Neilson Anastasia Nia Skioni in Greece.
