A sleek and modern monochrome interiors scheme has been unveiled at The Stuart Holmes Hair and Beauty Spa’s flagship premises in Cheltenham. With the support of celebrity client and design guru, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, The Stuart Holmes Hair and Beauty Spa now boasts a brand new look and feel.

The refurbishment of the four storey regency building has been described as a sympathetic renovation of a listed-building that incorporates a contemporary slant.

The husband and wife team have tried to continue to emulate the feel of a city boutique hotel with the enhanced reception and waiting areas giving clients an area in which to totally relax. A new colour scheme, funky wallpapers by LLB Design and luxurious new furniture have added an exciting extra dimension to the whole salon.

The renovation saw the creation of 8 new cutting sections plus the instillation of a luxury Hair Spa. The Hair Spa, which is located on the floor above the salon, is used as the main backwash and provides a serene environment where clients can enjoy total relaxation without having to listen to the whirl of the hairdryers and general noise on the salon floor.

The Hair Spa is subtly lit with sensual mood lighting, boasts footstools for each washing station and is adorned with 8ft high Stuart Holmes branded Shu Uemura art.

Stuart explains: “Many of our clients lead very busy lifestyles, so from the moment they step inside The Stuart Holmes Hair and Beauty Spa we want them to feel entirely relaxed. The redesign has extended the relaxation ethos within the salon. The first floor is now more open plan and combined with the huge windows extenuates the high ceilings and gives the salon a really grand feel. Our brand new Hair Spa goes that little bit further and creates an experience which is truly unique.”

With a history in The Savoy Hotel Goup, Sara Holmes has truly put her skills to work within the salon. The new interior solidifies the feeling of a beautiful boutique hotel.
