Sumptuous sweets and decadent desserts will be devoured at The Montpellier Chapter’s all-new Pudding Table.

For one evening each month, diners will be invited to feast on a selection of five puddings in the hotel’s Drawing Room.

Hotel Manager Racheal Bird said: “Our all new pudding club is the ultimate treat for pudding lovers. We’ve teamed a light savoury course with a tasting menu of rich, delicious puddings, guaranteed to satisfy even the sweetest tooth. The evening is nothing if not pure indulgence and we hope our guests will really love this new addition to our food events calendar.”  

Pudding Table guests will enjoy a glass of wine on arrival followed by a light seasonal main course. Main course dishes may include a choice of belly pork, apple polenta, sprouts and chestnut mustard cream, or baked plaice with aubergine caviar, pepper and chickpea stew, or butternut squash and sage risotto.  

A scrumptious tasting menu of five puddings will then take centre stage. The inaugural Pudding Table will feature a menu of coconut panna cotta with mango glacé, pineapple salsa and mojito granité, together with a chocolate delice, with sesame cracker and chilli gel.

Contemporary takes on dessert staples also feature. ‘Rhubarb & Custard’, Bakewell pudding and sticky toffee pudding will top off the evening.

The Montpellier Chapter’s Pudding Table takes place on the third Wednesday evening of every month, kicking off on Wednesday 18 November at 7.30pm. Places are priced at £35 per person and include a drink on arrival, a main course and 5 desserts from the evening’s exclusive menu, followed by tea and coffee.
